Christmas Ballerina

Today Bug had her last day of dance for 2011, just a short break for the Holidays.  They had a little party so Tim came along too.  It is really fun to watch...who would have thought she would enjoy it so much!
A little warm up video...
Here is the Christmas Dance, this one is a bit long.  The first part is practice and the second has the music behind it.  You decide which one is better :)

Santa 2011

We went to see Santa at Bass Pro Shop again this year and we all had a feeling it wasn't going to go well.  We had too good of years in the past, see 2009 & 2010.  This year when you asked Bug if she wanted to go see Santa she would respond with, "I already saw Santa!", "when Bug", "Tomorrow".  So we all knew this might be that year...the year of the screaming Santa picture.
Leroy and Grandma met us up there...
Leroy teaching Bug how to use a Yo-Yo
 Grandma coaching Bug through it
Grandma teaching Bug how to use a gun :)
 Everybody getting ready
Bug doesn't look to sure about this Santa thing...
 Really nervous
Bug is the next one up!
She wouldn't sit on his lap
 Dad to the rescue
 Santa traumatized for life.

Happy Holiday...

While the merry bells keep ringing
Happy Holiday to you!
A favorite Christmas song but a perfect sarcasm fits with it :)
The tree is up and the yard decorations are complete and functioning!  Now for the holiday to come for the little ones and for all to remember what Christmas is really about.
Bug and Walter hanging the first ornament for 2011 on our tree.
Done!!  Love that Christmas tree smell!!
We had to leave the bottom a bit bare to allow room for Bug, Anna and Walters bumps :)
This completes my craftiness and Tim's ladder drama for 2011
Ta-Da!!  Oak Trees and a rather large F150 block most of it :)
Happy Holiday!!

Baby Ella Kay Stavinoha

Ella Kay Stavinoha arrived about 2 weeks ago!!  What a beautiful baby girl she is!!  Zack and Bug got some playtime in too during our visit.  Congratulations to the Stavinohas!!!

Layla Grace 5K

Today we made a journey up to Cypress for the 1st Annual Layla Grace 5K.  If you aren't familiar with the Layla Grace Children's Cancer Research Foundation, check it out.  It was a great morning but really windy!!  Ladybug had a great time cheering on the runners.  Official times to follow but Tim made it to the finish line before the veteran marathoner(20112010).
Getting ready!
 Pre-race Pics
Here we go!

 Run Dad Run!
 There goes Leroy!
Bug was busy cheering everyone on
 Getting close to the finish
 Done!
Tim's official time ~ 28:03...he placed 3rd in his age group (26-33)
Leroy's offical time ~ 29:19...he placed 1st in his age group (58-99 & yes, there were 2 others in this group)
 Chick-fil-a was there too!
 So proud of Dad!
Bug shared her hat with Leroy too!

Good Boy Walter...

Ladybug and Walter have an incredible bond, partners in crime.  He is where ever she is and he is so gentle with her.  On this occasion Bug decided he needed to put stickers on too.  He had them on his head, chest and all four legs. Walter just loves the attention, he sits completely still and lets her do pretty much anything. Who would have thought our 80 lbs baby would be so attached to our Ladybug.
