Video Issues
I've contacted Blogger regarding the issues we are having with viewing video. Seems like mostly everyone viewing the blog is getting the "currently not available" when pressing play. Looks like they fixed it earlier this month however many on the forum are still complaining this is an issue, so stay tuned for a fix. I'll stick to pics till they fix it.

Sensitive Ladybug
Our little Ladybug has been very very sensitive lately. She gets her feelings hurt if you don't pick her up when she wants to be picked up and don't you dare tell her she can't do something in a stern voice. She will push out her bottom lip and let loose.
Tonight at dinner she was eating a teething biscuit and she loves to share them with Walter, she eats a little then hand it off to Walter who waits so nicely for it. Well, as she was handing it to Walter, Tim told her not to give it to Walter in a stern voice. Out went the bottom lip and for the next 15 minutes she screamed, then she would stop, look at Tim and start screaming again. Here is a snippet of our upset Ladybug shortly after the biscuit incident, not even her favorite distractors worked.
On a happier note, Ladybug added another trick to the bag today. Clapping!

9 Month Check Up
We went for Addison's 9 month check-up this morning, the bug is right on track with everything! The doc thinks she will have her upper teeth coming soon because her gums are "full", whatever that may mean and she was happy with all the Ladybug tricks :) We had a bit of drama at the end of our visit...Ladybug had to get her blood drawn. Who thought a little finger-stick could be so dramatic? I hope she doesn't take after Auntie Ann in the blood drawing area! Talk about drama!
The doc wants her to start eating less baby food and more of our food so today we had a grilled cheese together for lunch! She ate quite a bit of it, just chewing her little heart out. It was great! She loves cheese! She must have gotten that from Anna & Walter. We also advanced her to a straw sippy cup which took a minute for her to figure it out but once she did, man! She liked it.
Here are Ladybug's stats...
Height: 29 inches - 90-95%
Weight: 19.11 pounds - 50-75%

26.2
The big day finally came! Leroy has been training for the Houston Marathon for months now and today was the day to show us all how awesome he was.
Leroy ran 26.2 miles in 04:56:04, an 00:11:18 minute mile. Awesome. We won't get specific but his division was for males 60 to 64 years old.
We were out bright and early to cheer him on...

Getting ready for the big day with Graham Crackers!

Where's Leroy? Waiting in Rice Village.

Memorial Park, Leroy was taking too long...

Woof Woof
Addison has loved Anna and Walter from the start. She always wants to do what they are doing or go where they go so naturally I guess she wants to communicate with them. When you ask Ladybug "What do the puppies say?", she responds with her own little "woof woof".
To make it even cuter, I was getting her out of the car and one of the neighborhood dogs was barking. She immediately "woof woof'ed" back, it was too cute!

A Day of Many Talents...
Addison has been catching on to things lately that are just to funny to watch. So we decided to get them all on video today. Excuse the outfit. We went for practical and warm since we were staying in today.
How Big is the Ladybug?? She's Sooo Big!

Waving and Giving Kisses. She waves at everybody she sees and her kisses are so slobbery!!
Addison has one song now that calms her and makes her happy. We used to have to sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider all the way home in the car if she was having a meltdown, that hasn't been working. Now we just hit play on the iPOD. No matter how upset she is she stops crying and smiles or dances as soon as the song starts. She loves it!! Thank God for this song!

Finally One of Them
Addison has been following the pups around since she could crawl. She wants to do what they are doing and she LOVES their toys. Today I guess they finally made her one of them. She got slimed. I think it was courtesy of Anna.
One more exciting "first" to note...Ladybug is now standing and balancing for a few seconds on her own before grabbing hold of something or sitting down! Yeah!! Go Bug!
Happy Birthday Grandma!

Happy New Year!
We had dinner at Lita's for the New Year. The Bug to a liking to Jonathan. Jonathan taught Ladybug what ice is. She liked it, she was so into it she lost a shoe.

Favorite Things...
Addison is a champion crawler now and she has advanced to climbing stairs, climbing up on anything, and I mean anything and everything. She has no fear. We are researching a helmet for the child, or bubble wrap or something. She also knows where the fan, lights and chandelier are when you ask her she looks at them and points. She also waves when you say "Hi" and gives high five. Anna and Walter taught her that one.
The entire crew reading a book.
She likes the handle of this one the best
She also loves helping get ready for bath time. She hears the water start and she takes off for the bathroom. It is really funny to see.
The Devil Made Me Do It
After the crazy Christmas rush, Addison was Baptized on Sunday, December 27th. She did awesome. Archbishop Fiorenza lead the mass. Auntie Ann is Ladybug's Godmother and our long time friend Stephen is her Godfather, two very special people to us. She was too cute in her Baptism gown and bonnet. She spit up right after she was baptized, Tim said it was a sign, exact words..."the Devil's out."

More Presents!!
Grandpa Frank got Bug a Musical Snowman Snowglobe. She loves it. Lets hope it makes it to next Christmas.Christmas at Leroy & Grandmas
After I got some sleep we spent the afternoon over at Leroy and Grandmas. Addison had a blast. Addison had a one of her "firsts" on this wonderful afternoon. We all sat down for dinner and it happened...It is still a hot debate of the cause of this horrible event so I'll put both sides out there. Addison was standing at the side of a playpen behind our seats at the table so as the food was passed, I gave Ladybug a piece of Leroy's turkey, she didn't quite know what to do with it, she just tasted it and that was it. Then came Leroy's squash. I figured she eats Gerber's squash so she should have no problem with Leroy's squash. WRONG!! She gagged on the squash and then for the next 10 minutes projectile vomited everywhere! After and outfit change and time to calm down she was back in action. So, you decide...Leroy's squash or Leroy's Turkey.
