Father's Day 2012

We had a great, low key Father's Day weekend.

Walter and Ann went for their spa day on Friday and they usually come home with the usual bandannas...In honor of father's day, Walter came home wearing a tie!  Too cute!

Pool Time!

A few weekends ago we went over to a friend of Auntie Anns to have a play date with her niece and nephews.  Ladybug had a blast!

Ladybug has been loving the entire gardening concept!  We finally got a honeydew!  Tasted pretty good too!

First Recital

On Saturday, Ladybug had her first ballet recital!  She had so much fun and they all did great!

Student for a Day!

Last Monday we went to visit Aunt Leslie at school!  Bug was so excited to go to "school".  Leslie teaches first grade and the kids were absolutely amazing!

 The Friday before we came the kids caught 5 baby frogs, Bug thought that was really neat

 When the kiddos came in from recess they had caught a giant frog and at least 6 crickets along with a few ladybugs!!

Mother's Day 2012

For Mother's Day this year we headed to Galveston to enjoy the day!  We had the greatest time!!

 Bug loved seeing the cruise ship!  It was huge!!

 Okay, you can tell us what bad parents we are, we have never taken Ladybug to the beach.  Honestly, working down at UTMB when I started nursing and seeing all the infections and nastiness that is in that water just disgusts me.  So my child has never been to the beach.  I gave in this time, just to let her get her feet wet.  Now she asks..."can we go to a beach that has clean water?"  Guess we have to find one.

 I told her not to get her shorts wet so she improvised...
