Bug loves to sing and dance.  Seems like she is always serenading us with something.  I had my camera with me recently and got it on video.  Amazing what they pick up on.  Tone is off but she has the song down!
If you can't figure out what she is singing its the chorus for We are Young...

Care and Concern

Bug got 'Hungry Hippos' for her birthday and she injured her Hippo in all the excitement.  Bugs words, "I didn't mean to break his neck, it was an accident."  Everything is better with a band aid, right?

Happy 3rd Birthday Ladybug!!

Happy Birthday Ladybug!!  The Bug is 3!!  Can you believe it!  We opted for a small family party at Star Pizza this year instead of the productions we have done in the past.  Ladybug had a great time!
Grandpa Frank, Bug and Grammy
 Bug and Jonathan
 Baby Ella was a hit!
 Stephen and Baby Ella
Silly faces with Grandma and Leroy
 It's time to sing!!
 What a Big Girl!!
 3 years old
 Zack liked the cake!
Baby Ella got hijacked by Grandma and the fish tank was a hit as usual!
Auntie Ann and Jonathan brought Bug flowers..."that's just what I wanted" was her quote for the day!
If Stephen was holding Baby Ella too this picture would have been hilarious!
Stavinoha's with Bug, Grandma wouldn't give up Baby Ella so she is missing from the pic
Bug and her flowers
Bug's Birthday was Monday so we celebrated two days in a row...
She had to wear her Birthday Tiara for breakfast
Grammy came over and we took Bug to Birthday lunch at her favorite place to go with Grammy, Denny's.  When we got home Ladybug wanted cake so I opted to stick a candle in a marshmallow, Grammy and I sang happy birthday and she loved it.  Walter wanted a piece too...
When Dad got home we went to Gringos for her Birthday Dinner...Bug loves see other people have birthday celebrations...she wasn't so keen on her own song...
Happy Birthday from Gringo's!

Easter 2012

For Easter this year we had a few visitors in our backyard, 3 baby bunnies!  They were too cute!!  All 3 survived getting run over by the lawnmower and the weed eater all in one day!!  They added to the Ladybugs fun on Easter.
We started the day with an Easter basket at our house...yes, she is wearing an 80's style headband...
All dressed and ready for Easter!
Eating fruit salad with Dad at Grandma and Leroy's house
Bug's ready, where is everyone else?
She tried Leroy's homemade cupcakes but I think her eyes tell it all, she really wanted the other ones!  We love Crave Cupcakes!!
Time for an Easter Egg Hunt!
 Teaching Leroy her Ballet stretches
 Showing Leroy her push-ups
 Picture time with Aunt Leslie!
 Silly time with Grandpa Frank
 Silly time with Auntie Ann!
 Ladybug loves cashews!!
Reading with Jonathan under the dining room table, aka..."the library" :)
"Are You My Mother?", Bugs way
 Long Day...

Disney World 2012

So Tim calls me from work a few weeks ago and says "I'm going to Disney World for a conference next week".  I thought fun!  I didn't think I could swing it with work at first then I decided how often will we get the chance to have our hotel paid for for a week at Disney?  So we made it work.  Bug was over the moon excited to go see the "princess castle" and Belle.  The conversation about riding on an airplane was priceless, I wish I had it on video.  So get ready for tons of pics...I had to pick from 400+ so here are the highlights :)
Our Bug all ready to go in the "special car" that was picking us up :)
So excited in her Big Girl seat in the "special car"
Acting like a Silly Gus at the airport.
On the plane!!
Keeping busy
After some weather delays we ended up arriving in Orlando about midnight.  Then got on a bus to take us to our hotel.  Bug was excited to be on the bus!
Around 1am we arrived to our hotel.  Port Orleans - French Quarter.  Let's rate the hotel average, it had everything we needed but the location wasn't ideal.  It was free so we made it work!!
Bug got a kick out of the kid sized rocking chairs
Tim headed to his conference Tuesday morning so Bug and I set out for the day.  Our hotel was on the river which was nice.
Who can pass up Mickey Mouse waffles?
Bug and I headed to Hollywood Studios were she adored the Beauty and the Beast show!
Dad met up with us that afternoon
Mom and Bug
We weren't sure how she would due with meeting the characters since Santa was such a flop this past Christmas but she latched on the Pooh like you wouldn't believe!
Parades were definitely Bugs favorite!  She would just light up when she heard the music.
Bug fit right in with the Toy Story Props...
Buzz and Woody with Bug
After Hollywood Studio we headed over to Epcot, we lost the Bug about 2 minutes into the bus ride.  We let her have a 20 minute nap at the bus stop :)
Bug made a come back!  The topiaries at Epcot were awesome!!
Family pic with Donald Duck in Mexico
Cheesing in China
Bug loved the pizza in Italy!
Pics with Tomater and McQueen in Japan
We found Beauty and the Beast in France
The next morning, Tim had to go to more of the conference so Bug and I goofed around a bit and headed back to Epcot to ride the rides we missed the previous day.
Bug being silly at the Dolphin Hotel fountain.
Full of Mickey Mouse Pancakes and excited to be on a boat!!  We saw a Bald Eagle while taking the boat from the resort to Epcot.  What an amazingly beautiful bird!
We ran into Belle too!
The plan was to wait for Dad to go to the Magic Kingdom but he got tied up at the conference longer than expected so Bug and I ventured out on our own.  After taking the Monorail we got on a ferry to get us to the Magic Kingdom.  Bug got the biggest kick out of the modes of transportation.
We had to hit the Confectionery store first!!  We checked out at bit of the Magic Kingdom then decided to head back to the hotel get naps, meet up with Dad and then hit the night stuff at Magic Kingdom.
After a long nap everyone is ready to go to the Magic Kingdom!
As soon as we got there we hit a parade.  Bug loved it!
Bug and Dad's first trip to Disney World.
My mom has a picture of Ann and I in front of these so I had to get the next generation in the same shot.  Only problem is they now shoot water which I don't remember them doing 20 years ago??
Grammy told Bug all about the "Tiki Room" before we left, she is still singing this silly song!
We had a great dinner then found our spot on the street for the Electric Parade!
My pics don't do this justice!  Totally awesome!
She loved it!
After the parade we found our spot for the Firework show!
We have a winner!
Waiting for the bus and telling Grammy she saw the Tiki Birds!
Our resort was overrun with frogs and lizards!  You had to watch were you were walking!
The next morn Dad was back at conference so Bug and I went to the Magic Kingdom to visit with more characters
More parades!
Tinkerbell and the Fairy's
Bug liked to find a spot on the curb and wait for parades :)
Snow White!
In the afternoon we met up with Dad a the Animal Kingdom.  We were a bit disappointed in the Animal Kingdom, didn't have the Disney charm that the other parks do but we still had a great time!
Had to get a picture of the Ladybug under the Ladybug light pole!
Safari here we come!
Goofy and the Bug
We headed back the Magic Kingdom and once again Bug wanted to wait for a parade :)
Teacup Time!
The lines for Rapunzel and Eugene of Tangled were 2 hours so we improvised and let her ride "Maximus" on the carousel.  We aren't totally bad parents are we?
Dad rode too!
Last pics of Disney...We had to be up at 4am to catch the bus back to the airport so we called it a night.
Ladybug after she ate her Pink cupcake wearing Mickey Mouse ears, what a mess.
We learned what we will do on our "real" vacation to Disney were we will have time to plan everything.  We still had a great time and are really excited to head back soon!  If you ask Bug when we are going back she will tell you "next week"!  :)
