Happy Halloween!

Last week we met the Wisbrock's at a pumpkin patch to pick a few pumpkins then enjoyed a late lunch at Chuy's!! The girls had a great time! Thanks for meeting up with us!
This was as close as I could get of all three in the same picture!
Today for Halloween we met Auntie Ann for lunch then came back home and watched football for most of the day. We have a cranky/terrible two's/grumpy Bug on our hands!! But we will give you two guesses what Ladybug was for Halloween?! A LADYBUG!! She had a great time Trick or Treating.
Miss Grumps herself
So serious...
Getting happier!!
Our neighbor had his lights on but he didn't answer! So Bug tried opening his door, still no candy.
Back at the house with her loot.
Leroy and Grandma came for the fun too.

18 Months, 1 Week & 4 Days

Well, we made it 18mths, 1 week and 4 days without Ladybug getting sick. Then on Wednesday morning we had a cranky and hot Bug on our hands. Her temp was 102.1. As Bug says...'Uh-Oh'. So, the game of Tylenol then Motrin began...she would go down to 99.5 then back up. Her appetite wasn't great all week and she was very, very cranky but she didn't have anything else out of the norm.
Then, as luck would have it on Wednesday night I get a text from Tim with the dreaded...'there is something wrong with Walter', if I go the rest of my life without hearing this phrase it would be so amazing! Walter was coughing and hacking, Tim didn't know what was going on and Bug had another temp. So, Thursday morning we got Bug an appointment for Friday morning and Walter one for Friday afternoon and thank goodness Tim took Friday off to help me as I would have been way exhausted. At least this way I managed an hour nap on Friday which made a world of a difference!
So Bug had a strep test...negative. Then they did a CBC (complete blood count) and it turns up her count was "very viral". So we let it run its course. Ladybug hasn't had a temp since early Saturday so we are making progress. She is teething the two front corner teeth so that has been a nice twist too! We believe the terrible two's has arrived!!
Walter has Bronchitis!! Only Walter would come up with bronchitis. Anna is doing fine so who knows where he got this. He gets antibiotics and a cough suppressant. Again...Only our Walter :)
Everybody got there temperature taken...Bug just might take after her mom after all...

She had quite a time finding Shamu's ears...we found just the perfect spot :)
And there was Walter...you can hear Bug mimicking him in the background.

Road Trip ~ Part Two

After, we ate dinner at our favorite on the road joint...Rudy's...we checked into our hotel, settled in a bit and then back to SeaWorld we went, our hotel was just across the street. The night Shamu show started at 9pm so we couldn't miss it. We got back to the park about 8:15pm had a Shamu Sundae and took our seats for the show...Bug was sooo tired but still became mesmerized by Shamu.

Ready for round two

Watching the singing skeletons...can you tell someone is tired?

SeaWorld was decorated for Halloween...

Oct. 21st &22nd was our 10th anniversary for when Tim and I officially started dating...I thought this pic fit us best :)
A few video shots from the Night Show...They do an amazing job with these beautiful animals! You can see toward the end of the video one of the trainers brought out a baby Shamu.  Too Cute!!  It was fun to watch her try and do what the big Shamu does.

Meltdown after saying goodbye to SeaWorld
Bug changed her mind...no time for tears!

Hello? Grammy is that you? Bug taught herself how to use the phone. It was too late to call anyone, but she tried!

The elevators at our hotel had Shamu on them so we had to get pictures before we went home!

Bug giving kisses to Shamu on the ride home.
Watch out Mr. Giraffe the Giraffe and Henrietta the Hippo, Shamu has stroller privileges!

Overall Ladybug did great traveling. I don't think we will string her out all day again though. We woke Bug up at 7am Friday (she usually sleeps to 9:30am) and kept her going till we put her down about 11pm Friday night, with one shorter than usual nap that morning.

We all had fun and can't wait to do it again!

Road Trip ~ Part One

On Friday Morning we set off on our first road trip with Ladybug. We didn't know what to expect so we prepared for any and everything possible. Our destination was SeaWorld San Antonio!! We made it there and back all in one piece!

Just dropped the pups off at Leroy & Grandmas for a sleep over...Good Luck Guys! They have to run for their dinner...just kidding...they love it! Non-stop playtime!

We stopped at Denny's, Ladybugs favorite breakfast hangout and right after she was off into dreamland with Mr. Giraffe the Giraffe

Awake and refreshed she found the toy bag...

We made it to SeaWorld!! Great pic of Dad getting frustrated with the Ticket Machine

We finally made it in and off to the Sea Lion Show

Interested and curious

Wow! Sea Lions! Leroy taught her what a Sea lion says before we left so she is ready!
Walking with Mom to see Shamu!! It was a hot and sunny day!
Wow!!
She was Amazed!! This is what WOW looks like.
Good thing we weren't in the splash zone!

Totally into the Shamu show...
Excited and ready to see more Shamu!
There she is!!
Waving at Shamu after the show...
Off to the Sea Lion and Walrus show...when the walrus came out she yelled "Hippo!". Close...not really.

Feeding the seals with Dad...
They were plenty hungry!

Watching the Beluga and Dolphin show. She was more intrigued with the tropical birds they let out to fly over us...She jumped up and down saying "tweet, tweet".
Wow! Dolphins!

One of the divers was a "tweet, tweet"
Being silly with Dad...
Penguins!
More Dolphins, they were so close!
Of course...her own Shamu...aka..."Mu"
Maybe Shamu is a little big...

We headed out of the park to eat, check in to our hotel so we could get her settled a bit then head back to the park for the last Shamu show...already past bed time and still going. She entertained herself with the alarm clock and phone. That was easy...
Here is a short video of the day. Sorry for the bouncing and quick view changes. It was so hard to catch her expressions and everything that was going on too!

What more could the night bring? To Be Continued...

Opa!

Last Saturday we met a friend of ours at the Greek Festival. We had a wonderful time! There were a ton of people but the food was well worth the wait in the killer long lines. How can you go wrong when they are selling wine by the bottle anyways?! Ladybug had a blast, it was a late night for her but it was too cute watching her dance to the music! Great idea Krissy!
Waiting in line for the giant bouncy slide

Sitting on Dad's shoulders watching the Greek Dancers
