12mth Stats & Kisses for Walter

We went for our 12mth well baby check this morning and all is well. Bug is progressing just the way she wants her to. We are stopping formula and switching to whole milk, she can eat whatever, which is good because she already has been and we finally get to face the car seat forward!! Yeah!! I can move my seat back!! 12mth baby stats...

Height: 31 inches (95%)

Weight: 23.7 lbs (75-90%)

We don't go again till 18mths. We made it one year without getting sick!! Watch I just cursed us :)

Yesterday, Tim put together one of Ladybugs birthday presents, this thing was complex! Bug helped the entire time and when it was put together she had such a good time playing with Walter and her new set-up! She just loves doors, thank God we have one that is child safe now! A big "Thank You!" to Stephen, Carrie & Zack!

Ladybug Turns One!

Addison Grace turned 1 on Friday, April 16th! How fast the year has gone! Below are some pics from our Ladybug Picnic. The Bug had such a great time! No meltdowns or fuss. She even kept clean as she ate her cake! A special 'Thank You!' for all who took part in our picnic.

Bug also showed off her weird talent for everyone...walking on her knees...please tell me someone else has a child who has done this and grew out of it!

Keys...

It just amazes us how much Ladybug picks up from us without us knowing. When Tim got home this evening Bug heard his keys rattle and she immediately wanted to play with the keys so Tim handed her the new set of keys Grammy Lita gave her for Easter. Tim and I were chatting about the day and she was tooling around with her keys. After just a few moments this is where we found Bug without us even showing her what to do with keys...she was at our garage door entrance!!

Ring...Ring...Hello... it's the Easter Bunny for the Bug!

This is the new line around our house. Addison is obsessed with phones so guess what the Easter Bunny brought her? Phones, phones and more phones!

We had Easter dinner at our house and The Bug had a blast! We had dinner and hunted for Easter eggs! It was great! She even put them in a basket! We filled them with her favorite...Stars!

Quick little story...as you will see below, as part of the place settings for the table I put chocolates with them...well...we pulled Bug up to the table in her highchair and started passing food as usual. I looked over and Bug had something smashed in her hand and all over her face, you guessed it, she got a hold of the chocolate. She literally had a meltdown when I took it away from her. How many grown ups does it take to watch The Bug. Apparently more than 8 because nobody noticed what she was doing :)

Wardrobe Malfunction

Addison seems to sleep better in pant sleepers but we decided to try out a sleep sack last night. We went in to check on her and this is what we found.

She broke the zipper! We had to cut her out of the rest of it so she didn't choke herself. Pants it is from now on.
