Ladybug Happenings

We have been laying low for the past couple weeks so nothing to fun and exciting to report.  Here are some recent Ladybug happenings...
Grandpa Frank is another year older so we celebrated with a Birthday Lunch at Houston's.
Happy Birthday Grandpa Frank!
Tim took me to the Nutcracker Market so Grammy watched Bug for us.  This is what we came home to.
She hasn't fell asleep on anyone in a long time!!
 Ladybug's first Renaissance Festival.
We rode elephants, rode on giant swings and most important she got her face painted!
 Bug loved her Butterfly!!
Story time!!  We went to Chili's to grab a quick bite.  Bug has been pushing her limits lately but she really took it to a whole new level but by accident.  She was sitting in a booth next to Tim singing "Jingle Bells" with two forks in her hands.  Yes, you know how this turns out.  When she got to the part "one horse open sleigh...Hey!" she threw her arms open when she said "Hey!" and stabbed Tim with a fork right in the middle of the forehead!  I thought he just flinched seeing the fork come at him but it turns out she really did get him.  He had a bloody forehead for a surprisingly long time!!  I of course couldn't stop laughing as he wasn't amused at all.

Day of Fun

A few weeks ago we headed down to Galveston to visit Moody Gardens.  Ladybug always enjoys it.  It was great, nobody was there but unfortunately we picked the weekend of the Lone Star Biker Rally so the Island was really crowded!
Wow!  It's a shark!
 Too scared to touch it
 Watch out for Sharks!!
Dad and Ladybug liked Chloe...the next pic talks about Chloe

 Butterflies were everywhere!!
 Bug liked the Sloth
 Cute!

We took Bug to Gaido's because both Tim and I loved it as a kid.  Let's just say Gaido's isn't the same or our tastes have drastically changed.

On our way to the Candy Shop Bug passed out.  We ended up heading for home...they closed off the strand and there were a million bikers all over so we will go back another day :)
Our crazy Bug slept good that night :)

Zoobee Check

Since I was a kid we have called our teeth "Zoobee's" so naturally Bug calls her teeth Zoobee's :)  I have no idea where this came from or why but it is cute to say the least.  So being the bad parents we are, we have been putting off taking Bug to the dentist.  I finally made an appointment and since I was at a conference and Tim was off he took her to her first visit!  He even captured all the important moments for me!  What a Dad!!  She did great and loved the entire experience!
She even chatted it up while they were taking care of business!  The video goes bad but you can still hear her answering their questions :)

Halloween 2011

Happy Halloween!!
Ladybug had a blast going door to door!  It took her a few houses to warm up and go without Dad right next to her but by the end she was on her own!
Here we go!  "Come On Dad!"
Grandma and Leroy came over too!
Trying to escape at the first house :)
Bug kept saying "Look It!  Candy!"
 Wardrobe malfunction
 This one was extra scary!

Ballerina Bug

Last week the kiddos got to dress up in their Halloween costumes for ballet class.  The costumes didn't last long.  You will be able to see in the videos that our class has grown!  They combined classes and we will just say that we were really spoiled with just 3 of them in our previous class.  Now it is definitely more chaotic and it is interesting to see how uninterested some parents are even if it is a "mommy/daughter" class.  Bug is still loving it though!
Stretch!
Ladybugs favorite thing at dance is when they jump open and say "surprise!!".  Well this time Ms. Emily wanted them to say "Boo!", Bug had a hard time with the change.

 Costume malfunction and distraction :)
