Santa Pictures

Who came up with Santa pictures? I vote next year we get our own Santa for pictures, anyone in with me?

We headed to the Bass Pro Shop today for our FREE picture with Santa just like last year. So did the rest of Pearland. Bug had a great time with Leroy, Grandma and Unk and looking at all the fun things at Bass Pro Shop. Tim and I had a blast standing in line :)

O' Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree up and decorated a couple weeks ago and it was too funny to watch Ladybugs reaction to it.

It all started when we got it home, fitting it through the door is always a challenge, then Bugs OCD kicked in. She can't stand for there to be "mess". She runs and gets a rag and tries her best to clean it up while sighing and saying "uh-oh, mess". The pine needles definitely through her for a loop.

Tim and I finished decorating at about 1am and Tim went to check on Bug and wouldn't you know it she just happened to be up so we had to drag her out of bed! We turned all the lights out in the house except for the Christmas tree and she just oohed and ahhed over it. It was too cute to see!

"I'll just get on the roof." This was Tim's response to me telling him to borrow our neighbors extension ladder. At least it was a teachable moment for Bug...I would ask her "where is dad?", she would respond with pointing to the roof and saying "roof". Great job Dad!

When we plugged the lights in and saw that some of the bulbs were out, Tim agreed to borrow the extension ladder :)

Happy 1st Birthday Emma!

The Bravenec's baby girl, Emma, is One!! They were on leave for the holiday so it was great to be able to celebrate Emma's birthday with them. What a sweet little girl!!

Bo-Bo

"Dad Bo-Bo", "Hippo Bo-Bo". That was the phrase since last week around our house. Tim has been under the weather so our internist decided instead of admitting him to the hospital for IV antibiotics I could just do it all at home. Lets just say there is nothing more stressful than starting an IV on your husband, who by the way hates needles (throws up at the site of them), it is one of those do or die moments in a relationship :) So, Bug quickly picked up on Dad's Bo-Bo and kisses it every chance she gets, she even wanted to give Henrietta the Hippo a dose of antibiotics too. Both Dad and Hippo are doing well.
