La Tornada

Tim started calling the Bug 'La Tornada', Addison is tearing our house apart. Here is a small path of her destruction...her toys are usually neatly stacked in front of the fireplace.

New Friends

Tim and I went to dinner with an old friend of ours Saturday night and she brought the cutest gift for Bug. It is a Ladybug pillow and Addison fell in love with it right away. She takes this little ladybug pillow everywhere!

Addison had a great 1st Valentine's Day! We found out she likes chocolate!

Busy Bug

Ladybug has been a busy little thing lately! Her latest talent is showing you where your nose is! If you ask her "where's my nose?" she grabs your nose for you! It is really cute! On the standing alone/walking front we have made some progress. She is walking with her walker as long as you keep it from rolling to fast, it gets a little quick on the tile floor. She is also getting bolder about standing without assist for longer, still only a short bit but the balance is getting better. She has been trying to stand up without pulling up on something but hasn't coordinated the body movements right yet, she usually just ends up sitting on her knees. All in time, right?

Addison has learned how to open Anna & Walters kennels, they really like her now.

Ladybug likes to pick the string out of our kitchen rugs, we find these little strings everywhere!

"Danger Bug!", our new saying...

Addison woke up from her nap and found a new toy. The monitor has always been in the same spot without incident until recently. Ladybug stood on the bumpers and stretched her little heart out till she got it. The monitor has been relocated.

The Great Escape...

Our backyard has been really wet and muddy so we have been walking the dogs on leash to potty in the front and side yards of our house. When I do this Addison ALWAYS has stood just like she is in this pic and watches us right our in front and she waves her little heart out. Well, one afternoon this week Walter was taking his sweet time finding the perfect spot and I heard Bug's babbling and cooing getting louder and louder, I thought to myself 'what is she doing?' I come back in sight of the front door and here is Ladybug crawling off our front step and into the grass. I nearly had a heart attack. She sat in the grass and cried, I'm guessing the concrete and little step through her for a loop as well as the rain and cold. I'm still trying to figure out how she got the heavy front door opened. Lesson learned.
